NYC Twestival Raises Money for Concern Worldwide
New York Twestival 2010, which was held last night, raised $18,845 to support the charity Concern Worldwide's school-building effort. It was one of the many twestivals held around the world last night where social-media users gathered to raise money to support this charity. All together, they raised more than $300,000, according to Civil Society.
The event in New York was held at Good Units, a multilevel club located in the sub-basement of the Hudson Hotel in Manhattan's Columbus Circle neighborhood.
